Way To Go Pat

Today Pat Summit the coach of Tennessee's Lady Vols basketball team reached a record 1000 wins. No other coach has done so, in fact the sainted (she says sarcastically) Bobby Knight has only done 902... She is partially responsible for the rise of women's basketball. She has years and years of great teams as well as a few clunkers..

In an era where women coaches are often replaced by men (hey there is money in it of course it should be a man's job) she has remained ontop. She is graceful in victory and defeat and from everything I have ever seen an amazing woman.

Congrats Pat.. You make me proud to be an athlete and better yet you make others remember what a woman can do.. ANYTHING...
