My memory is of Peggy Fleming skating in the Olympics. The Olympics isn't like the old days--now it's ALL about money, merchandising and getting sponsorships afterwards. I can't stand to watch them now--it's just lost its luster to me.
Give me these two guys any day! They weren't about the money--they were about righting wrongs and running.
I agree to some extent.. remember Eddie the Eagle or the Jamaican bobsled team? They played such a huge part in making the Olympics great.. It would help if we had a rivalry or two as well. That was always fun
